Care tips for summer

A lot of guides online will say echeveria love full sun, however if you live in Australia the sun is super intense in summer and can easily burn the leaves.

I find succulents like echeveria grow the best in Autumn and Early Spring in Australia, when its around 20-25 degrees celcius.

Plants with softer leaves like Sempervivum and some crassula won’t tolerate the sun easily in the Australia sun either. In those cases it’s probably best to place these plants in filtered light or where it can just receive some morning/afternoon light instead of the intense noon sun.
