If you see any white cocoon-like stuff on your plants, particularly underneath the leaves or where the leaf meets the stem, it’s like the plant has a bit of a mealybug infestation. Mealybugs can be super annoying because they can easily kill a plant before you realise it.
One of the easiest ways to remove mealybugs is to spray a tiny bit of methylated spirits directly on them. Note I would caution against doing this on plants with softer, more tender leaves, as it can also burn a plant especially if they are in sun.
Scale sprays also (like Yates) but they can also burn leaves so once I’ve sprayed them I move them into filtered light/shade for a week or so.
